Welcome to St. James & All Souls  Salford

Our church remains open and we look forward to welcoming you to masses during this Advent season.

Based at the Heart of Salford, the Catholic Parish of St. James and All Souls aim is to be a community centred around Christ and His Church, and our mission as His followers to love one another. We welcome you to come and join our growing family of vibrant people from all walks of life, all backgrounds, and all ages. Here, on our site, you can find all the information you need about our services, our community, what's on and how to get involved.

As we start coming out of lockdown and following the guidelines from the diocese, we continue to ask for your patience and understanding.

Your Visit to church

Stewards will be available to assist you during your time in church. We're aware of the lifting of remaining covid-19 restrictions from 19 July 2021 but we still need to act cautiously to stop the spread of the virus.  We are asking everyone visiting Church to: wear a dace mask unless you're exempt; maintain social distancing where highlighted in church; and use hand gel or wash your hands.

Thank you for your cooperation

See the live stream below during these times.

In the absence of basket collections a few people have been asking how they can support the parish during lockdown.

Salford Diocese have made online donations easier for those who wish to continue to support our parish.  Please visit the direct link on the diocese website to make a donation:

The Parish are mindful of the changing financial position many of our parishioners find themselves in during this time and appreciate that only some may choose to donate. Any donations will be greatly received to support the Parish during this difficult time.
