Dear Parishioners,
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on 4th January, England will move into a national lockdown. As churches are allowed to remain open for the celebration of Mass, our Masses will continue as planned this week.
We ask that you do not mix in church with those who aren’t in your household bubble. It is also important to remember that the Sunday obligation continues to be lifted.
We will continue to stream some of our Masses, so you can watch from home if you do not feel safe attending church.
Please refer to the link below to watch.

St. James and All Souls
Welcome to the Catholic Parish of St. James and All Souls, based here at Mother of God and St. James Church, Salford. We aim to be a community centred around Christ, His Church, and our mission as His followers to love one another. We welcome you to come and join our growing family of vibrant people from all walks of life, all backgrounds, and all ages. Here, on our site, you can find all the information you need about our services, our community, what's on and how to get involved.
In the absence of basket collections a few people have been asking how they can support the parish during lockdown.
Salford Diocese have made online donations easier for those who wish to continue to support our parish. Please visit the direct link on the diocese website to make a donation:
The Parish are mindful of the changing financial position many of our parishioners find themselves in during this time and appreciate that only some may choose to donate. Any donations will be greatly received to support the Parish during this difficult time.
